The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of heroes, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, fiends, and sinister influences growing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for the third episode of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The third episode concluded with a dramatic pause and introduced the initial group of heroes who will separate from the main group to embark on their separate journey, separate from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

With a large ensemble, it was obvious from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before branching into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a classically intense fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear unsuited, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the party understands precisely where to go next after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, attacking the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could enable the team reach places they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter pledged a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the rulers that govern the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The rogue and The character are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This means them little choice but to journey toward Timmony in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the combat party will not appear next week, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Questers and Planners parties.

Fans can expect learning which players will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on October 24.
